Profile: The 48 Hour Film Festival was created to remove the common roadblocks that stop filmmakers from making films. Not having enough time, money or resources are no longer considered to be excuses and the films concentrate on creativity alone, creating a level playing field. Today's digital tools allow filmmaking and storytelling at an unprecedented level. Anyone with access to a computer and a digital camera can make films, with the proper motivation and skills.
